Anderson

This week , we decided to go somewhere instead of just lanier. We headed down to Anderson SC. I started the night by drawing a 24 which put me on the inside last row in the heat race. There was not a lot of cars and they put pro and semi-pro together. In the heat race my car was awesome but it was hard to pass and made it to fourth. I started fourth in the feature. I had the fastest car in the feature by far but I got caught up racing some pros while the other semi-pro driver got away from the rest of us. On the last lap I finally got around the pro I was racing and gained a lot to the leader just on the last lap. I had the fastest car but just had some bad luck but I’m looking forward to going back next week and I had a lot of fun just time my second time up there.

Lanier, 8/6/08

This week at Lanier I started the night by drawing a 37, not very good. I started 4th out of 6 in my heat race and that put me 2nd to last starting the feature. We took the green flag and I had a pretty good start and got around a few people. I went off into one and got a good run off of four and got under someone for the 6th spot. I passed one more person and i was in 5th before a caution. Under caution I went to the outside and that put me in fourth. I had another good start and was able to get to the bottom. I had made it to 3rd and Austin Hill got under the first place who was holding us up a little bit and I followed him which put me in second, with three laps to go we had a caution and I chose the outside which put me on the outside pole and I had a good start and kept him pinched down on the bottom and on the last lap coming out of four Ikept him on the bottom and brought home my first win in the legend car and in the semi-pro division. I had a lot of fun and my car was awesome. I want to thank my mom and dad and my sponsers, ABF, Aarons, Pool Room for giving me the chance to race and I am looking forward to going  back next week.

Lanier

This week at Lanier went pretty good. I started the night by drawing a 15. I was one o the fastest cars in practice and that good draw put me on the pole for the heat race. I lead the first lap in the heat race and got passed coming out of turn 2. My car was just a little loose. I hung with the leader and ended up second. That put me 4th in the feature. I had a pretty good car in the feature and was running third and towards the end of the race someone spun going into turn 1 and I went to the outside to miss the wreck and when I got back in line I was about 5th because I slowed up for the spin. The track would not let me go back to 3rd so I came home with a top 5 finish in 5th.

Lowe's Motor Speedway

This week at Lowes was the best that I have run up there. I drew a 175 and that put me 2nd in my heat race. My car was awesome  and I had one to win the feature. I was on the leaders bumper and I just couldn’t  get around him and I ended up 2nd in my heat race. They did a invert for the feature and it somehow put me on the pole for the main. I lead the first two laps fighting on the inside for first spot. He got around me on the out side and the leader and I had run away from the field quite a bit until we had a caution and on the next restart I had a bad start and got shuffled back. We had another caution and I drove it in to hard on someone and got hooked to his bumper and he pulled me right into the field and it broke my LF spendel off. I had a bad and good night all at the same time and am looking forward to going back next week

At AMS this week was a double feature night because it rained it out the week before so we didn’t get any practice just two features. In the first feature my car was pretty good but I had to start last. The race was only 15 laps because it was a double feature night. I drove a ways up the field and there was a wreck on the last lap coming out of turn 2 and when I checked up someone  behind me ran  over my right rear. In that wreck it must have bent the rear end housing because in the second race my car was not good at all and ended up second to last. I just had a bad night but I can not wait to go back in the winter series. to race again.

This week at Lowes was the best that I have ever run up there. I started on the pole in the heat race and fell back to third. I didnt have to go to the b-main and started 11th in the main event and had a crazy start and they had a wreck behind me about mid-pack. I chose to stay on the inside and started for the second time and it was wild in the front and they wrecked up front and I was almost through it and I wheel hopped somone but I got my spot back. I was about 10th and we where almost to the end of the race and I was stuck behind somone who was slow and he kept blocking me and I got under him coming out of turn 4 and he went to block me and I hit his left rear and I spun to the inside on the front straight away and they didnt call a caution so I ended up in the back but I had fun and am looking foward to going back next week.

This week at charlotte was one of the best that we have had down there. I started the night by drawing a 126 not to terribal being out of 400 but still ended up starting in the back of the first heat race and didn’t do good and had to go to the b-main to make it into the race. I started 4th in the b-main and the car was real good but I had some exaust problems and didn’t run as good as I could have but I made it into the race and started way in the back and had a really good car and had made my way up to 14th or 15th and on the last lap coming out of turn 4 some of the leaders wrecked and there was only a small hole to make it through and I was on the outside so that didn’t make it much better and the guy right in front of me hit the wall head on and I had to come to a compolete stop and came accross the line in 25th. The main thing is that we didnt tear up anything and I know I ran better than what my finish said and I am looking foward to going back next week to running again.

At Lanier on Saturday things didn’t go as good as the last few weeks have been… I started by drawing a 56. Not good, but I started mid-pack in the heat race and finished in the back in the heat.  I started in the back of the main event and went to the outside under a caution and was up front but I fell back and ended up not to good but it was a short race and my car was to tight to get any positions in that short of a race.  I want to thank my Mom and Dad and my sponsers for all of the support they have givin me and I had fun and am looking forward to going back next weekend.
